Re “It’s rattlesnake season. What do you do if your dog gets bitten">May 24): Thank you for this handy description and tutorial for what to do if your dog is bitten by a rattlesnake. I was disappointed that you didn’t mention the importance of getting dogs vaccinated each year to protect against rattlesnake bites. Treatment is still expensive, but the costs are cut drastically if a dog is vaccinated.
