Beautiful baskets for all the San Pasqual Academy graduates of the Class of 2025 were created by many caring of the National Charity League San Diego Del Norte Chapter.
After graduation, the foster students will be moving onto the next chapter of their life. This is a very scary time for them, since they are leaving San Pasqual Academy, which has been their home and has provided a safe, stable, nurturing environment, according to a news release. They have been able to live in one place and graduate from the same high school. For many other foster students, this has not been the case.
As the graduates of San Pasqual Academy prepare for their next journey, they greatly appreciate the of caring individuals and organizations. National Charity League has been a dedicated er of these foster students. They have provided items, such as the Graduation Laundry Baskets for many years. These baskets contain an iron, a sewing kit, velvet clothes hangers, laundry supplies, a Target gift card and other useful items.
The National Charity League Sustainers of the Del Norte Chapter, once again, provided a shoe holder and delicious snacks for all the graduates. They assembled and put together all the baskets at the lovely home of Kim Baglio, adding an inspirational card in all the baskets. The foster teens greatly appreciate these useful items and the efforts of these many caring volunteers, the news release stated.
Friends of San Pasqual Academy has been caring for the foster teens of San Pasqual Academy for over 24 years. Many graduation activities are being planned and each graduate will receive a scholarship to further their education, whether it will be at a trade school, community college or four-year university.
