Re “City must junk its dishonest trash initiative and start from scratch” (May 9):  Assuming the city has any integrity left, the solution is a revote based on current, accurate facts presented in a transparent ballot measure. Unfortunately, I’m afraid it’s too late: City leaders have already demonstrated their willingness to misuse power to do whatever they can get away with on this matter. The rest of us will pay the price for their malfeasance.

Chalk up another debacle to the trash heap of “America’s Finest” civic history.
