Padres fans can now shop from a collection of clothing designed by the wives and girlfriends of some of their favorite players on the team.
The organization announced the collaboration on Wednesday with social media posts showing the women posing with the fashionable gear. On display were new jackets, a T-shirt and a crew neck sweatshirt, all in original designs featuring yellow, brown, gold, tan and camouflage colors.
“This one’s for the girls,” said the announcement.
In one photo, the women posed holding jerseys with the last names of current team : Cease, Morejon, Adam, Musgrove and Estrada.
Arica Christensen, fiancee of Joe Musgrove, and Kelsey Adam, wife of Jason Adam, are among the group of five, who publicize their lives and connections to the players to varying degrees on social media. One of the women, Christen Dye, is an influencer and hair care founder with more than 400,000 followers on Instagram.
The Padres also posted individual photos of the women wearing the merch.
Fans can buy the new collection exclusively at the team store, the Padres said.
