Sheriff’s deputies are investigating after a body was found inside a Fallbrook home on Wednesday, officials said.
Deputies went to the home on Willow Heights Road near Margarita Glen after someone checking on the residence called authorities around 9:30 a.m. to report possibly seeing a dead body, a statement from sheriff’s homicide Lt. Juan Márquez said.
When deputies arrived, they confirmed the body was inside and notified the sheriff’s homicide unit, which is investigating.
It was unclear if the person who died was male or female. No other details were immediately released.
