Students from the Pacific Beach and Mission Beach area have been recognized by their colleges for their achievements.

Emerson College in Boston named two students from the 92109 ZIP code to its Fall 2024 Dean’s List. To be honored, they had to earn a semester GPA of 3.7 or higher.
They are Mariana Merlos, a theater and performance major in the Class of 2025; and Cameron McAllister, a sports communication major in the Class of 2028.

Palmer College of Chiropractic announced that Jaime Garcia Guerrero graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from its West Campus in San Jose on March 28.
