Setting section records in the 100- and 200-meter dashes, the junior was unbeatable at Saturday’s Sundevil Invitational. Arrington clocked state-best wind-legal times of 10.24 and 20.37 seconds.

The sophomore did not allow a baserunner over five innings, tossing a mercy-rule perfect game in a 12-0 triumph over Torrey Pines. She tossed 40 pitches as the Titans improved to 11-2.

The sophomore did not allow a hit over five innings against San Diego High, allowing just a walk as the Centurions held on to win 8-7. Gonzalez struck out 11 batters before departing.

The sophomore jumped up to No. 2 in the state in the triple jump with a winning effort of 39 feet, 10¾  inches at the Sundevil Invitational.
