The North Coastal Sheriff’s Station is currently recruiting for its Volunteer Sheriff’s Patrol program. This opportunity includes the following responsibilities:- Conducting home vacation security checks- Assisting with traffic control- Patrolling neighborhoods, schools, parks, and shopping centers, both in patrol cars and on foot

To be eligible, volunteers must meet these requirements:- Be at least 50 years old- Be in good health- a background check- Possess a valid California driver’s license

Volunteers will complete two weeks of training at the Sheriff’s Academy. You must also commit to four six-hour shifts per month and attend a monthly program meeting.
