
The Padres are back in action at Petco Park for the 2025 season, and that means surrounding bars and restaurants are opening their doors with specials for fans.
Here’s a list of just a few of the many downtown San Diego spots that are welcoming San Diegans with food and drink specials.
The Deck at Moonshine Flats: The Deck at Moonshine Flats is selling five for $30 buckets of Bud Light or Michelob Ultra and five for $28 buckets of Buena Cerveza or Holler & Swaller hard tea on Padres game days. The Deck also offers happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m. weekdays with drink specials such as $5 well cocktails and two for one on Buena Cerveza. The Blind Burro: On game days, The Blind Burro has a beer and a shot for $15. Patrons will get a shot of Código Blanco Tequila and an Estrella Jalisco 24-ounce can with this special. Other deals throughout the year include happy hour specials from 3 to 5 p.m. such as $7 TJ-style hotdog, $8 fish taco or shrimp taco and $8 house margarita. Coin-Op Gaslamp: Specials at Coin-Op Gaslamp are launching on Opening Day and running during every home game. Deals include a $3 slice of cheese pizza, $8 cans of NÜTRL Vodka Seltzer, $9 cocktails and a $10 beer and pizza slice combo. Happy Does: The indoor and outdoor venue Happy Does is serving buckets of hard seltzer and beer on sale. Topo Chico Hard Seltzer will be available for a price of $35 for five, and five Coors Light or Buena Cerveza beers will cost $30. Also, from 3 to 6 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays when there is not a Padres home game, Happy Does will serve $3 chicken sliders; $5 Bud Lights, Coors Light and Michelob Ultra; and $6 house wine and seltzer. Hasta Mañana Cantina: Mexican restaurant Hasta Mañana Cantina is featuring several specials during the Padres’ 2025 campaign. When the Friars are playing at Petco Park, guests can get a $10 Casamigos margarita. Havana 1920: Cuban foodies can get the flavors of the island country at Havana 1920. Before Padres evening games, San Diegans can enjoy happy hour Monday through Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. Some of the discounted drinks include the Havana mojito or the Havana 1920 daiquiri for $7.50 each. Featured food specials are ham and cheese or chicken croquetas for $2, papa rellenas for $3, empanadas for $4 and the bocadito platter served with ceviche, plantain chips, two chicken croquettes, picadillo stuffed potato and ham and cheese empanada for $12. The Smoking Gun: Drink deals and arcade specials are on the menu at The Smoking Gun. Throughout the Padres season, select beers cost $3.94, the Padres Paloma is served for $12, the City Connect cocktail (Cutwater Rum, orange liqueur, ionfruit and lemon) cost $12 and beer buckets are available for $15.
