The La Jolla Music Society presented its WinterFest Gala, titled “Fantasy Under the Sea,” at the University Club and Jacobs Music Center in San Diego on Feb. 21 to benefit Music Society learning and engagement programs for children and adults.
The event featured dinner and a concert by the London Symphony Orchestra with pianist Yunchan Lim. It also honored Brenda Baker and Steve Baum, namesakes of the Music Society’s Baker-Baum Concert Hall at the Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center in La Jolla. ♦
