Del Mar Community Connections (DMCC) hosted its annual Cookies and Cocoa Holiday Party Dec. 13 on the Del Mar Civic Center Plaza. It was an event  planned and hosted by DMCC’s Social Good Times committee, led by board member Ann Feeney.

Older adult partygoers were treated to hot cocoa and cookies baked by 15 volunteer home bakers, plus live music from Dwight Worden, Beatrice Crosbie and Adam Kaye, and DMCC’s Singing Connection singalong group. DMCC was “proud to once again receive funding in partnership with San Diego Seniors Community Foundation as part of their No Senior Alone for the Holidays campaign,” a news release stated.
