Junior Aileen Shin and sophomore Maggie Ryan spearhead Bishop’s in its bid for its seventh consecutive CIF San Diego Section Open Division championship. Both received first-team All-CIF honors last season. The Knights are also going for their 14th title in 15 years. Set to challenge is Carlsbad, which reached last season’s finale. Katelyn Mobley holds forth in goal and fellow senior Alex Anghera keys the attack. After winning its second straight Division 1 crown last season, Coronado seems poised to re the Open Division. Looking to contend in Division 1 is Mt. Carmel, which has been climbing since winning the Division 3 title two years and the Division 2 championship last season.
