Enjoy some tasty bites, music and locally-produced art during the annual HeArt of PB Restaurant Walk.
The self-guided tour will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18 along Garnet Avenue.
Tickets are $35 if bought in advance at pacificbeach.org and $40 on the day of the event.
Proceeds will benefit Discover Pacific Beach, a non-profit organization working to host local events, preserve the community and implement improvements across Pacific Beach’s neighborhoods.
All food samplings will be included with the purchase of a ticket, and participants are able to take one sample per restaurant. This year, there will be over 10 featured restaurants serving up local favorites in bite-sized form.
Participants can eat gastro-classics at The TapRoom, pizza from Woodstock’s, Hoboken Pizza and Sauced Pizza, ice cream from La Michoacana Estrella, frozen yogurt from Yogurt On The Rocks, breakfast classics from Broken Yolk Café and more.

Other restaurants signed up include Better Buzz Coffee, Cafe Athena, Desserts by Clement, Mr. Frostie, Pacific Beach Fish Shop, Scuderie Italia and Tavern at the Beach.
In addition to bites and sips, art and music from local creators and vendors will be on display. These include Aztec Graphics with a local tiki artist, Norm Daniels and music by local musicians.
“This year we added a little more art to the HeArt of PB Restaurant Walk,” said Sunny Lee, Discover PB’s executive director. “This is the first year we are adding the aspect of art in, and we have one establishment so far who will be hosting art and music.
“We will have live art on the street, and we will be showcasing what these artists have to offer,” she said.
The walk is self-guided, so participants are invited to take their time strolling Garnet Avenue.
Lee said she and the Discover Pacific Beach team are excited to host another year of fun to wrap up the summer. With 500 expected attendees, this event is an opportunity for residents and visitors to eat, mingle and connect with the local restaurant and art scene.
“This walk typically attracts a lot of residents but also visitors from all around San Diego,” Lee said.
The HeArt of PB Restaurant Walk is one of many Discover Pacific Beach-hosted community events that happen annually. For details on events, visit pacificbeach.org.
“We do a lot of workshops and events and like Restaurant Walk, they all benefit the community directly. The proceeds will go right back into Pacific Beach,” Lee said. “We are excited for this year’s restaurant walk.”
