UPDATED:

Virtually all areas east of Interstate 15 in San Diego County will be under a heat advisory from 11 a.m. Friday to 9 p.m. Sunday as a high-pressure system pushes temperatures into the 90s and 100s.

The National Weather Service says that San Diego Country Estates and areas north of Julian and south of Alpine are likely to reach 100 degrees or higher. Ramona will be in the 97-to-99-degree range, and El Cajon will be in the low 90s. Borrego Springs will reach 113 to 114 degrees.

Forecasters aren’t planning to issue a wildfire advisory because winds will be comparatively light and the relative humidity will not fall to critical levels.
