‘Mrs. Doubtfire’: “Mrs. Doubtfire,” the national tour of which arrives at the San Diego Civic Theatre on Tuesday, is a Broadway San Diego presentation. The musical is inspired by a 1993 film starring Robin Williams. It features a ‘70s disco-like dance number, tap dancing, ‘90s jazz-inspired choreography and even hip-hop. 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday; 7:30 p.m. Thursday; 8 p.m. June 7; 2 and 8 p.m. June 8; 1 and 6:30 p.m. June 9. National tour of ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’ musical makes first visit to San Diego next week

Exploring the Science of Harry Potter: Students from third to fifth grade are invited to a workshop exploring the science of the Harry Potter books and films, highlighting concepts such as herbology and genetics. 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. North Coast Rep planning scaled-down but fully realized production of ‘Camelot’

‘Escape to Margaritaville’: Moonlight Stage Productions presents this La Jolla Playhouse-born Broadway jukebox musical featuring the songs of the late Jimmy Buffett. It’s about two girlfriends who arrive for a vacation on a Caribbean island where they meet new friends and unexpectedly find true love.
