How to watch San Diego State’s Sweet 16 NCAA Tournament game against UConn

San Diego State plays its third NCAA Tournament game Thursday. Watch the Aztecs on television or online as they take on UConn.

The fifth-seeded San Diego State men’s basketball team will play the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament, the University of Connecticut, in a Sweet 16 game on Thursday.

The Aztecs dominated a second-round game on Sunday against Yale to earn a spot in the next round and a rematch with the team’s 2023 NCAA Tournament championship opponent. In that game, UConn defeated SDSU 76-59, and UConn coach Dan Hurley describes this year’s Huskies squad as “bulletproof” with “elite offense, elite defense.”

The game will take place in Boston. Here’s everything you need to know to watch:

Game time: Thursday’s game tips off at 4:39 p.m. PDT.

On TV: TBS will broadcast this matchup, with Kevin Harlan, Dan Bonner, Stan Van Gundy and Andy Katz calling the game from the sideline. Check your local listings to find the correct channel. Fans with cable can also use their subscription to to NCAA.com to watch games online or via the March Madness Live app.

Streaming: New this year, cord cutters can watch games airing on truTV, TBS and TNT by adding the B/R Sports Add-On — which is currently available as a free trial — to their Max streaming subscription. For those who will need to sign up for Max, monthly subscriptions start at $9.99.

For fans without a streaming provider, now may be a good time to try one out. YouTube TV has a free trial.

NCAA.com also shows games for a limited time before asking for a cable provider , but it will have live updates throughout the game, including statistics.
