UPDATED:

How will blink-182 follow up the 2023 reunion tour that reunited the three of the Poway-bred pop-punk band’s best-known lineup?

With an extensive 2024 “One More Time” North American tour that will include concerts at Petco Park in San Diego and SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on June 30 and July 6, respectively. Tickets go on sale Friday to the general public, following a series of pre-sales.

The tour will open with a June 20 Florida show at the Amway Center in Orlando and conclude with an Aug. 15 Canadian date at Rogers Centre in Toronto. It comes on the heels of the band’s recent North American concert trek, which included a pair of June homecoming gigs at Pechanga Arena San Diego.

The 2024 tour will feature the San Diego band Pierce The Veil on all dates, along with a yet-to-be-announced opening act. This will mark blink-182’s first public performance at Petco Park, where the group played in 2019 for an invitation-only audience that was attending the annual Twitch.com convention.

Monday morning’s announcement of blink-182’s 2024 North American tour tour follows last Friday’s release of “One More Time…” It is the first new album since 2011 by the band’s best-known lineup, which teams bassist/vocalist Mark Hoppus, guitarist-singer Tom DeLonge and drummer Travis Barker.

DeLonge left the band in 2015 to launch his To The Stars Academy. The Encinitas-based academy, which which focuses on UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena), saw DeLonge team with former U.S. Army career intelligence officer Luis Elizondo and other UAP experts. Elizondo co-hosted the 2019/2020 History Channel TV series “Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation,” which DeLonge co-produced.

DeLonge was replaced in blink-182 for two albums and multiple tours by Alkaline Trio guitarist/vocalist Matt Skiba. DeLonge and Hoppus renewed their friendship after Hoppus was diagnosed with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma in 2021.

Hoppus, DeLonge and Barker announced their reunion in 2022. They performed together for the first time since 2014 at this year’s Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio. Their 2023 tour had been scheduled to open March 11 in Tijuana, but was pushed back when Barker suffered a finger injury that required surgery.

Tickets for blink-182’s June 30 Petco Park concert and the other dates on its 2024 summer tour go on sale to the general public Friday at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.com.

A pre-sale for the band’s fan club begins Tuesday at 7 a.m. It will be followed by a 10 a.m. Thursday pre-sale on the website of Live Nation, the tour’s promoter, the Petco Park website and local radio stations.

Tickets for the Petco Park concert are price from $39.50 to $249.50 each, plus service charges. VIP packages, for which prices have not yet been announced, will be available through vipnation.com.
