UPDATED:

Knowledge is power and the greatest asset you can acquire in order to compete for a fantasy football championship.

Here’s your 2023 preview of the Cleveland Browns, the 27th of 32 team profiles during draft season:

2023 Fantasy MVP: Nick Chubb, RB

Chubb’s (ADP: 9) Per 17 Games averages in four years as a starter in Cleveland is 1,782 total yards and 13 total touchdowns and he’s practically guaranteed more opportunities in the ing game with Kareem Hunt elsewhere.

2023 Fantasy Sleeper: Deshaun Watson, QB

Watson (ADP: 81) struggled in six starts for the Browns in 2022 after serving his suspension, but he hadn’t played competitive football in almost two years. He finished as the overall QB4, QB5 and QB5 in his three seasons as a full-time starter in Houston, where he had significantly less talent surrounding him. He’s currently the ninth quarterback coming off most draft boards, so there’s value to be had if the muscle-memory kicks in and he re how to be a top-5 signal-caller.

2023 Fantasy Bust: David Njoku, TE

Njoku (ADP: 94) was the overall TE12 in five games with Watson under center, but his targets, receptions and yards all took a dip. He’s being drafted as a TE10, which means you’re probably selecting him at his ceiling — something I usually try to avoid.

2023 Fantasy Rookie to watch: Cedric Tillman, WR

Tillman (ADP: 315) has prototypical size and the ball skills to thrive on the perimeter. He lacks top-end speed and will need to expand his route tree, but he has the traits to become a reliable target in the NFL. Some scouts believed he was Tennessee’s No. 1 wide receiver when healthy, ahead of the heavily-hyped Jalin Hyatt, who was drafted by the Giants one pick ahead of Tillman in the third round.
